Job summary
The Senior Site Reliability Engineer is tasked with building the Infrastructure and DevOps department that underpins innovative products. This role involves designing and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring security best practices for mobile backends. Proficiency in GCP services, Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, and containerization technologies such as Docker is essential.

Qualifications
- Strong proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform)
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools specific to GCP
- Familiarity with programming languages (Typescript, JS, Go, Python)
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Preference for agile and dynamic environments
- Expertise in fostering teamwork and collaboration
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure for backend services using Infrastructure as Code
- Implement and refine monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies with GCP's native tools
- Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Collaborate with mobile, web, and backend teams to define best practices for deployment and performance optimization
- Ensure security best practices in GCP infrastructure and deployment pipelines
- Create and maintain technical documentation on deployment architecture and troubleshooting guides
- Identify and implement improvements to GCP infrastructure and DevOps processes
