Senior Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/d)

Job summary

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will own the reliability of the Azure SaaS estate, setting SLOs and engineering out toil to enhance platform performance.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience as a Site Reliability, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineer in a production cloud environment
• Fluent with SLOs, error budgets, and reliability engineering practices
• Strong observability skills at scale
• Kubernetes at operator level
• Experience in coding for automation (Python or equivalent) and Terraform
• Linux system administration skills
• Experience leading incidents in an on-call rotation
• Strong written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Define and own service-level objectives across the Azure estate
• Identify toil, classify it, and engineer it out
• Standardise metrics, alerting, and tracing across all datacenters
• Lead incidents to resolution and run blameless postmortems
• Harden CI/CD and progressive delivery
• Model capacity and load-test critical paths
• Implement agents and bounded automation for detection and remediation
• Own capacity and cost planning across the multi-cloud estate
