Job summary
Ockto is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability, scalability, and security of their platform, which facilitates secure personal data sharing.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering or DevOps
- strong hands-on experience with AWS
- experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK or CloudFormation)
- experience with Linux, networking and cloud-native architectures
- experience with CI/CD, monitoring and observability
- experience securing cloud platforms using IAM and secrets management
- experience with scripting or programming (Python, Go, Bash or PowerShell)
- strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- passion for automation, reliability and continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- improve reliability, resilience and security of the Ockto platform
- design, build and automate secure, scalable AWS infrastructure and deployment pipelines
- drive reliability through observability, incident response, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery
- strengthen cloud security posture and operate controls for SOC 2 and ISO 27001
- maintain cloud cost efficiency while balancing performance and resilience
- drive adoption of AI-assisted development workflows
- uphold privacy and ethical standards
