Job summary
Own end-to-end reliability of a mission-critical production environment supporting a major U.S. payments organization, serving as the senior technical anchor for each shift. The work spans OP-stack services, a private Hyperledger Besu L1, Paladin nodes, the Overledger Gateway, Audit Store, and Settlement Bridge, with responsibility for observability, SLO and error-budget tracking, incident response, post-incident hardening, and shift mentorship.

Qualifications
- 6+ years in SRE, DevOps or production engineering.
- Strong cloud, infrastructure-as-code and observability tooling experience.
- Experience operating blockchain/DLT infrastructure is a strong advantage.
- Willingness to work a rotating 24/7 shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Act as the senior technical escalation point for your shift.
- Own observability, SLO instrumentation and error-budget tracking for your assigned production components.
- Lead incident response on shift, and drive post-incident hardening so issues don't recur.
- Join joint bridges with Security Operations on combined security-and-availability events.
- Mentor SREs on your shift, and set the standard for runbook discipline and clean shift handovers.
