Job summary

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer role focuses on enhancing operational resilience by engineering solutions that integrate automation, observability, and AI-powered platforms. Key responsibilities include leading incident management, designing self-healing systems, and implementing observability solutions using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AI/ML concepts for operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering and software engineering for large-scale, internet-facing services
• Hands-on expertise with containerized architectures
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and Linux/Unix internals
• Familiarity with large-scale internet service architectures
• Proven proficiency in Python and Go (GoLang)
• Production experience building and operating observability platforms
• Solid background in incident management
• Strong understanding of SRE principles
• Hands-on experience with workflow/orchestration engines
• Experience applying AI/ML to operations
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead incident detection, response, and resolution
• Lead post-incident reviews
• Independently drive the design and implementation of complex automation platforms
• Architect and build production-grade observability solutions
• Design and implement AI/ML-powered operations tools
• Drive optimization of system performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
• Provide technical coaching to junior team members
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define and uphold SLAs/SLOs
