Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job summary

Solaris Group is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design monitoring and alerting standards, implement frameworks for SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs, and improve resilience through software and tooling.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent experience
• 6+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Software Engineering roles
• Programming experience in Python, Ruby, Java, or Go
• Expertise in Service Discovery and Service Mesh
• Experience analyzing capacity requirements
• Design systems for automatic failover across data centers
• Expertise in tools like Chaos Mesh or Gremlin
• Design infrastructure to limit blast radius of failures
• Break down architectural goals into deliverable tasks
• Evaluate third-party tools as technical point of contact
• Safely roll out platform changes across the organization
• Understand challenges of the financial sector
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
• Business proficient English (written and verbal)
• German language is a plus
• Curious self-starter with a structured, hands-on mentality
• Agile mindset with a drive to improve
