Job summary

Senior Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and managing distributed message broker clusters, ensuring reliability and performance of messaging infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large distributed systems in production
• Practical experience with enterprise brokers like Apache Kafka or Solace
• Experience managing infrastructure on Kubernetes
• Proficient in Python, Go, or Bash
• Strong understanding of Linux performance tuning and network protocols
• Deep understanding of event-driven architecture patterns
• Fluent in English, ideally with German

Responsibilities

• Design and manage highly available distributed message broker clusters
• Ensure reliability, performance, and fault tolerance of messaging infrastructure
• Automate deployment, scaling, and configuration of messaging clusters
• Create dashboards for monitoring, alerting, and logging
• Define best practices for application developers
