Job summary

Wor*** is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to support U.S. Federal Government contracts, focusing on maintaining and optimizing a Kubernetes-based platform.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with large scale cloud infrastructure and DevOps methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Terraform and CI/CD tools like Argo CD.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in Amazon Web Services in a production environment.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (C#, Python, Ruby, Rust, Go).
  • Experience with security auditing and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in air gapped cloud regions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high availability of the Wor*** Kubernetes platform through automation and observability tools.
  • Ensure platform components are secure and scalable.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for platform-related issues.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance.
  • Document platform components and processes.
  • Collaborate with engineers and development teams across locations.
  • Stay updated on platform engineering technologies.
