Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job summary

This senior engineering role sets technical direction for reliability and observability across a product landscape, building standardised systems that support automated, agentic-first development workflows. Responsibilities include designing data pipelines and telemetry architectures, implementing OpenTelemetry and vendor-agnostic instrumentation across distributed applications, improving cloud efficiency and cost performance, and creating automated alerting and reliability scorecards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing distributed tracing, metrics, and log aggregation in large-scale cloud environments.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry standards and vendor-agnostic instrumentation.
• Understanding of distributed systems architecture and diagnosing behavior under high load.
• Interest in artificial intelligence tooling, intelligent operational workflows, and data model automation.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering teams, share knowledge, and improve platform standards.
• Proactive problem-solving and ownership of reliability challenges from design through execution.
