Job summary

The Senior Software Developer, DevOps role is centered on enhancing software delivery through CI/CD engineering and hands-on development. Key responsibilities include designing and improving Jenkins shared libraries and CI/CD pipelines using Groovy, optimizing build and deployment workflows, and managing AWS infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code, primarily CloudFormation. Collaboration with Software Engineering and QA teams is essential to modernize practices and improve developer productivity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD engineering, software engineering, platform engineering, or cloud engineering
• Highly experienced in Jenkins, Groovy, and CI/CD engineering
• Solid experience in AWS and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with observability and deployment-validation platforms is preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve Jenkins shared libraries and CI/CD pipelines using Groovy
• Assess and optimize build, test, release, and deployment workflows
• Create reusable pipeline components and standardized delivery patterns
• Develop software engineering practices including source control and automated testing
• Improve build performance through better pipeline architecture and dependency management
• Strengthen deployments through automated testing and rollback capabilities
• Partner with development and QA teams to enhance application delivery
• Modernize CI/CD practices and use metrics to identify bottlenecks
• Lead technical improvements in engineering tools and practices
• Support evolution toward platform engineering and developer self-service
