Job summary

The Senior Software Engineer – Kubernetes Platform Engineering is responsible for defining, designing, and delivering cloud-native platform capabilities across the bank's enterprise container ecosystem, providing technical leadership in platform APIs, Kubernetes automation, service mesh enablement, and CI/CD modernization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, cloud-native development, or distributed systems engineering.
• Proficiency in Golang with experience in building APIs, microservices, and automation solutions.
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or Red Hat OpenShift in production environments.
• Experience designing and supporting cloud-native applications and platform services.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using various tools.
• Experience with GitOps-based deployment models.
• Hands-on experience with Service Mesh technologies.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems design.
• Experience integrating enterprise services and security controls.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Collaborative experience with various engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts.
