Obsidian Security is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Customer Platform Engineering team, focusing on urgent customer needs and operational escalations.

Qualifications

• strong proficiency in GoLang and/or Python
• experience across multiple layers of the stack
• proficiency with AI-assisted development tools
• ability to validate and integrate AI-generated solutions
• experience incorporating AI tooling into workflows

Responsibilities

• Triage and resolve urgent customer escalations
• Investigate complex system behavior
• Develop rapid prototypes and proofs of concept
• Support pre-sales engineering with technical validation
• Respond to high-priority internal requests
• Coordinate with engineering teams to unblock work
• Implement targeted fixes and document findings
• Identify systemic issues and recommend improvements
• Contribute to internal tooling and operational processes
• Leverage AI tools for investigation and solution development
