Senior Software Engineer I-II, Integration Platform Engineering

Job summary

Frontline Education is hiring Senior Software Engineers for the Integration Platform Engineering team to build APIs and integration services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of software engineering experience for level I, eight or more for level II.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and backend development.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and cloud-native systems.
• Ability to translate needs into technical interfaces and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and support cloud-native APIs, integration services, microservices, and reusable platform capabilities.
• Define consumer needs, stable contracts, documentation, service expectations, ownership, and lifecycle plans for APIs.
• Build mechanisms for secure API publishing, documentation, discovery, versioning, monitoring, and consumption.
• Translate internal and external needs into practical API and event contracts.
• Design dependable external interfaces as internal services evolve.
