Job summary
The Senior Software Engineer role is centered on developing scalable, cloud-native applications in a collaborative Agile and DevOps environment, particularly within the banking sector. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying business-critical applications, implementing automated testing strategies, and managing applications in Kubernetes environments using technologies such as Java and Spring Boot.

Qualifications
- Strong experience in Java development and Spring Boot
- Solid understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and RESTful APIs
- Experience working with Oracle SQL databases
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
- Knowledge of cloud-native application deployment and management, preferably in Azure environments
- Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, and CI/CD practices
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and automated testing
- Proven experience working with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
- Experience participating in Agile software development teams
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- C1 English level
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within cross-functional Agile teams following a DevOps-centric delivery model
- Design, develop, test, deploy, release, and monitor business-critical applications
- Participate actively in code reviews and champion software quality best practices
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver valuable solutions
- Partner with Solution Architects to design scalable and maintainable software aligned with enterprise architecture guidelines
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and service-oriented solutions
- Implement automated testing strategies using TDD and BDD practices
- Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes-based environments
- Support CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery initiatives
