Job summary
Ray*** is seeking a Senior Software Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain software infrastructure for satellite ground systems, focusing on automation, deployment, and monitoring in an agile DevOps environment.
Qualifications
- active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
- degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) typically required
- experience with Information Technology Infrastructure and/or Software Engineering
- experience with the Linux platform
- development experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Groovy
Responsibilities
- monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines in an agile DevOps environment
- develop and maintain documentation for the software infrastructure
- mentor engineers needing infrastructure assistance
- define, develop, and prototype software scripts and environments
- implement and manage continuous delivery systems
- participate in continuous improvement of the software infrastructure
- design and implement software infrastructure for satellite ground systems
- provide software infrastructure expertise for future development bids
