Job summary
This Site Reliability Engineer builds and maintains reusable, standardized platforms for UK clients, combining project delivery with foundational service operations and support for Critical National Infrastructure. The role includes GitOps-based infrastructure and CI/CD, agile work within error budgets, troubleshooting cloud-native platforms, and participation in an on-call rota. The technical environment includes OpenShift, Kubernetes, observability stacks, Infrastructure as Code, and tools such as Tekton, ArgoCD, and FluxCD.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering operations
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting OpenShift Operators and Istio Service Mesh
- Experience designing and operating complex multi-cloud or hybrid environments
- Understanding of distributed systems
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Tempo
- Experience with EDB Postgres
- Experience with Kustomize or Helm, Bash, and Python
- Experience managing GitOps CI/CD pipelines with Tekton, ArgoCD, or FluxCD
- Familiarity with Submariner and secure environments
- Familiarity with Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management and Advanced Cluster Security
- Mentoring skills and commitment to SRE best practices
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reusable, standardized platforms and blueprints
- Deliver work in agile sprints and operate within error budgets
- Support Critical National Infrastructure services
