Senior Staff Consulting Architect - AI / Kubernetes

Job summary

Design and implement scalable AI and Kubernetes infrastructure on Nutanix HCI, supporting customer deployments and advising on workload configuration. The role also develops Kubernetes and CNCF capabilities, optimizes performance and availability, troubleshoots client environments, and integrates GPU acceleration for AI workflows, including LLM inference.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience designing and implementing infrastructure for data-intensive Kubernetes workloads.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes container orchestration.
• Proficiency in networking concepts and architecture for Kubernetes and AI workloads.
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows.
• Knowledge of security compliance and cybersecurity requirements for Kubernetes and AI workloads.
• Knowledge of DevOps automation and implementation.
• Knowledge of deployment lifecycles and resource requirements for AI and Kubernetes models, including LLM inference.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with GPU acceleration technologies such as NVIDIA CUDA in containerized environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure platforms is a plus.
• Strong client-facing communication, presentation, collaboration, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable AI and Kubernetes infrastructure on Nutanix HCI.
• Advise clients on Kubernetes configuration for AI workloads.
• Align infrastructure capabilities with client initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Develop solution configuration documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge-sharing resources.
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, availability, and resource efficiency for AI model execution.
• Guide clients on GPU acceleration and its integration into AI workflows.
• Troubleshoot client infrastructure issues and provide ongoing support.
• Design, implement, and contribute new capabilities to Kubernetes and CNCF projects.
