The Senior Staff, DevOps Engineering role is focused on enhancing software and firmware delivery by leading the design and implementation of scalable CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD. Qualifications
- 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience
- 3+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python
- 12+ years of experience in Software, Firmware, or Systems Engineering
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience as a DevOps Engineer or technical leader
- Strong hands-on expertise with CI/CD systems
- Proficiency with SCM tools
- Experience with requirements management and defect tracking systems
- Solid background in build systems
- Expertise in configuration management and infrastructure automation
- Familiarity with static analysis and code coverage tools
- Deep understanding of branching models, version control strategies, and release workflows
- Proficiency in C, Python, and Shell scripting
- Working knowledge of server firmware/software frameworks
- Strong grasp of DevOps principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Proven ability to solve complex technical problems
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines
- Own and administer source control management (SCM) platforms
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate and support requirements management
- Develop and maintain build systems and scripts
- Implement and manage configuration management and automation frameworks
- Enable and support static code analysis, code quality, and coverage
- Define and enforce branching strategies, versioning schemes, and release workflows
- Serve as a DevOps subject-matter expert
- Collaborate with firmware and platform teams
- Develop and maintain automation and tooling
