Senior Systems Administrator

Job summary

The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, maintenance, and security of the organization's enterprise infrastructure, leading complex projects and mentoring IT staff.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience administering and supporting enterprise servers
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field
• Must successfully complete the next scheduled Secretary of State Election Officer Certification
• Must be eligible to vote in Arizona
• Must pass applicable background screening

Responsibilities

• Perform systems and application support at the highest level of technical expertise
• Administer, design, implement, maintain, and modify computer systems
• Provide technical support and coordinate migration of new or current systems
• Lead staff, including mentoring, assigning, and monitoring work
• Manage projects and perform related research, analysis, and requirements gathering
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation
