Job summary

The Senior Systems DevOps Engineer will enhance the Systems Test Automation team for the Omnipod ecosystem, focusing on CI/CD infrastructure, including Bamboo and Jenkins. Key responsibilities include designing CI/CD pipelines, managing Linux environments, and leading containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in DevOps Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• At least 3 years of experience with embedded systems and hardware/software interfaces.
• At least 3 years of experience integrating Android and iOS devices into CI/CD.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
• Experience with Linux systems and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux-based environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation frameworks.
• Lead containerization initiatives using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design and support MQTT-based messaging infrastructure.
• Manage DevOps platforms and test automation infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for deployment and testing solutions.
• Support laboratory infrastructure and hardware-based test environments.
• Drive platform reliability through monitoring and proactive maintenance.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis.
• Manage application releases and deployment activities.
• Establish DevOps best practices for integration and monitoring.
• Evaluate improvements to architecture and operational readiness.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Develop innovative testing methodologies.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
