Job summary

The Server Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of server infrastructure across client and internal environments, with a focus on backup and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Windows Server environments and core infrastructure roles
• Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware and Hyper-V
• Experience managing server performance and lifecycle maintenance
• Experience with storage platforms including SAN and NAS
• Knowledge of enterprise backup solutions and disaster recovery concepts

Responsibilities

• Own administration and improvement of server infrastructure
• Ensure proactive monitoring and issue resolution
• Support virtualization and cloud infrastructure standards
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for server administration
• Communicate with clients regarding infrastructure health and recovery readiness
• Follow change management policies for infrastructure updates
• Maintain accountability for server-related incidents and tasks
• Support backup validation and disaster recovery readiness
