Job summary

Fitch Group is seeking a Service Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability of Fitch Ratings services, focusing on AI development and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• deep, hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering across both AWS and Azure
• highly proficient in administering both Linux and Windows
• practical, enterprise-level experience supporting IIS/.NET applications and Java Spring Boot services
• built and maintained CI/CD pipelines with DevSecOps principles
• experience with cloud security best practices

Responsibilities

• lead the delivery of reliable, scalable, mission-critical services
• guide squads on Kubernetes and modern deployment patterns
• mentor associate engineers and set best practices
• partner closely with Fitch Ratings Development Squads and Operations
• own observability in Datadog
• champion AI-enabled operations using AWS Bedrock/SageMaker
• define and enforce cloud guardrails and security controls
• influence cross-functional roadmaps and lead complex release planning
