Job summary
The ServiceNow Platform Engineer designs, develops, and supports platform systems, resolving application issues and advising internal teams on process and technology improvements. The role maintains platform performance, security, access controls, stability, and reporting, and supports modules including ITSM, CSM, HR Service Delivery, Security Operations, GRC, SAM, ITBM, and ITOM. It also provides platform training and applies ServiceNow best practices to address technical debt.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or four additional years of equivalent experience
- At least five years of ServiceNow platform engineering or related technical experience
- Strong object-oriented programming knowledge and experience
- Experience configuring and modifying the ServiceNow platform
- Knowledge of web services, REST, and JSONv2
Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve issues with ServiceNow applications
- Advise teams and business units on platform process and technology inefficiencies
- Monitor performance and identify and remediate errors
- Maintain platform stability and incorporate best practices
- Manage instance security, user and group access, roles, relationships, and access control lists
- Train internal teams and external business partners on the platform
- Develop and maintain a platform-wide reporting strategy
