Job summary

Wavenet is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented ServiceNow Platform Engineer to manage and maintain their ServiceNow platform, ensuring stability, usability, and ongoing enhancements while collaborating with various teams.

Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Knowledge of scripting (JavaScript, GlideRecord), APIs, and ServiceNow Flow Designer.
  • Experience with API integrations and familiarity with integration technologies.
  • Experience creating and managing reports and dashboards in ServiceNow.
  • Proficiency in platform configuration, including workflows, ACLs, UI policies, and scripts.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and IT change management processes.
  • Proactive, solution-focused approach to platform issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including user access, roles, data policies, and workflows.
  • Manage and maintain ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CSM, SOM, SPM, FSM and others as required.
  • Configure forms, lists, catalog items, workflows, business rules, and notifications.
  • Work with end-users to resolve issues, provide guidance, and enhance user adoption.
  • Collaborate with development and business teams to deliver platform enhancements.
  • Maintain documentation related to configuration, processes, and user support materials.
  • Ensure platform compliance with internal security policies and external standards.
  • Coordinate and manage all ServiceNow workstreams to ensure prioritization and timely delivery.
  • Support integration of ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using APIs and integration technologies.
  • Stay current with the latest ServiceNow features and best practices.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate platform risks.
  • Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to support colleagues.
