Job summary
Wavenet is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented ServiceNow Platform Engineer to manage and maintain their ServiceNow platform, ensuring stability, usability, and ongoing enhancements while collaborating with various teams.
Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or willingness to obtain certification.
- Knowledge of scripting (JavaScript, GlideRecord), APIs, and ServiceNow Flow Designer.
- Experience with API integrations and familiarity with integration technologies.
- Experience creating and managing reports and dashboards in ServiceNow.
- Proficiency in platform configuration, including workflows, ACLs, UI policies, and scripts.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and IT change management processes.
- Proactive, solution-focused approach to platform issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including user access, roles, data policies, and workflows.
- Manage and maintain ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CSM, SOM, SPM, FSM and others as required.
- Configure forms, lists, catalog items, workflows, business rules, and notifications.
- Work with end-users to resolve issues, provide guidance, and enhance user adoption.
- Collaborate with development and business teams to deliver platform enhancements.
- Maintain documentation related to configuration, processes, and user support materials.
- Ensure platform compliance with internal security policies and external standards.
- Coordinate and manage all ServiceNow workstreams to ensure prioritization and timely delivery.
- Support integration of ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using APIs and integration technologies.
- Stay current with the latest ServiceNow features and best practices.
- Proactively identify and mitigate platform risks.
- Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to support colleagues.
