Site Reliability Developer 1

Job summary

Vena Solutions is seeking a Site Reliability Developer 1 to join their SaaS Technology and Operations team. The role involves improving the observability, scalability, stability, and security of Vena’s SaaS platform while participating in an on-call rotation and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT Operations, DevOps, SRE, or Software Engineering
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services and infrastructure management
• Ability to write code in any language
• Experience with tools like Ansible, Docker, GitHub, Terraform
• Knowledge of distributed systems in the cloud using observability and telemetry
• Experience with telemetry, centralized logging, and alerting tools

Responsibilities

• Support ITIL processes including incident, request, problem, and change management
• Define and document runbooks and standard operating procedures
• Field operational requests from Application Support and internal stakeholders
• Triage and solve issues within defined SLAs
• Maintain services by measuring and monitoring availability and system health
• Identify and troubleshoot problems, investigate root causes
• Work with infrastructure-as-Code focusing on continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members in an agile environment
• Report on SLAs and performance metrics
• Participate in on-call rotation
