Job summary
The Site Reliability Engineer owns cloud infrastructure, system reliability, and observability for teams operating a large-scale programmatic bidding platform and machine learning and AI solutions. The role designs scalable, reliable infrastructure and tooling, automates configuration and incident response, extends monitoring and alerting, and supports on-call incident escalation. The environment runs thousands of applications, servers, and containers across multiple regions on AWS and Kubernetes, managed through Infrastructure as Code.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- At least three years administering Linux, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- At least three years of configuration management experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- At least three years coding in a higher-level language such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and build infrastructure solutions and tooling for scalability, reliability, and sub-second performance.
- Write code and scripts for Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and automated incident resolution.
- Support and extend observability systems for issue detection and alerting.
- Participate in on-call rotations and serve as an escalation contact for service incidents.
- Write system documentation, playbooks, and instruction manuals.
