Job summary
The Site Reliability Engineer role focuses on operating, optimizing, and evolving SAP platforms that support global payroll and HR clients. Key responsibilities include maintaining SAP workloads, supporting migrations to SAP RISE, leading incident responses, and ensuring system performance and security through proactive monitoring and disaster recovery strategies.
Qualifications
- Deep SAP platform expertise
- Proven ability to design and implement complex SAP landscapes
- Expert-level knowledge of SAP Basis and HANA architecture
- Strong background in Linux administration
- Knowledge of network and security concepts including Single Sign-On
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support existing SAP workloads and new S/4 HANA systems
- Support migration to SAP ECS/RISE
- Configure and maintain Portal infrastructure SSO integration
- Proactively monitor system health using SAP tools
- Lead response to critical production incidents
- Design, test, and maintain backup and recovery strategies
- Harden SAP systems against vulnerabilities
- Oversee SAP integration points
