Job summary

App*** is seeking innovative and dedicated Site Reliability Engineers for its Data Platform team, responsible for managing infrastructure and applications on bare-metal and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• proficiency in architecture, deployment, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of data analytics technologies
• experience managing applications on AWS, GCP, and Ali Cloud
• drive to automate manual operations into automatic processes
• understanding of Linux, containers, virtualization, and networking protocols
• strong ownership and integrity through clear communication
• excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Responsibilities

• solve problems using empirical data and teamwork
• collaborate with engineering teams to deliver seamless customer experiences
• use and improve a mix of open source, vendor licensed, and proprietary tools
• apply a consistent incident management process across data platform services
• provide user journey based SLOs from observability metrics and automation
• balance long-term solutions with business priorities
