Job summary
The Site Reliability Engineer - Application Support at Capgemini is responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of enterprise applications across various platforms including Windows, UNIX/Linux, OpenShift, and PostgreSQL.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows Server
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience in Application Support or Production Support roles
- Understanding of incident and change management processes
- Ability to analyze logs and system trends
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2/Level 3 application and infrastructure support
- Monitor application health and server performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents
- Perform root cause analysis
- Support application deployments and environment management
- Manage OpenShift platform operations
- Monitor PostgreSQL databases
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams
- Develop automation scripts and operational runbooks
- Participate in on-call support rotations
