Job summary
Site Reliability Engineers build and operate reliable, scalable, automated platforms for customer and business-critical telecommunications services. They improve uptime, observability, and performance; support production systems through troubleshooting, incident response, and on-call work; and maintain infrastructure using tools such as ArgoCD, Ansible, or Terraform. The role also includes improving PHP applications and collaborating across network, cloud, platform, and software engineering teams.

Qualifications
- Experience with AWS or Azure and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking, distributed systems, and high-availability architectures.
- Experience writing well-tested, maintainable code, preferably in Go, Python, or PHP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or other SQL databases.
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Knowledge of infrastructure and software security best practices.
- Experience with SuSE Rancher, Harvester, or related components is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable, resilient systems.
- Automate improvements to reliability and uptime for critical services.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, and logging to detect issues early.
- Troubleshoot production environments and participate in incident response and on-call support.
- Analyze system performance and balance reliability, cost, utilization, and throughput.
- Maintain infrastructure platforms using Infrastructure as Code tools such as ArgoCD, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Document processes, infrastructure configurations, incidents, and post-incident reviews.
- Troubleshoot and improve PHP applications to enhance reliability.
- Mentor colleagues and promote shared ownership and continuous improvement.
