Job summary
Cisco's Webex Engineering Group is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to enhance collaboration technology through the development and management of Kubernetes-based microservices.
Qualifications
- Analytical Degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in software development
- Extensive architecture and programming experience
- Strong Kubernetes and microservices experience
- Experience with GitOps
Responsibilities
- Design, codify, test, and deliver Kubernetes-based microservices configurations
- Drive operational perfection in a GitOps model using Argo CD
- Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate development and optimization of configuration-as-code
- Address complex challenges across configuration, policy, observability, and data services
- Ensure end-to-end configuration quality and governance
- Advance a self-service platform using Backstage and Argo CD
