Job summary

Citi is seeking a motivated team member to support their AI and DevOps platform support team in North America, ensuring stability, reliability, and performance of critical platforms.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in technical support or platform operations.
• Exposure to architecture concepts and technical discussions.
• Experience with business partners and engineering teams.
• Demonstrated experience in IT services and platform operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in operational workstreams and platform improvements.
• Participation in resilience-related activities preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills for managing workload.
• Working knowledge of Generative AI concepts preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD or configuration management tools preferred.
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes preferred.
• Experience with databases like Postgres, Oracle, MongoDB, or Redis preferred.
• Experience with scripting or coding in Java, Python, Go preferred.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand application support functions within the technology organization.
• Assist with vendor coordination and interactions with offshore services.
• Support service level improvements through incident and problem management.
• Partner with development teams for application stability and readiness.
• Collect capacity and performance data for platform planning.
• Support application onboarding using established guidelines.
• Foster a collaborative team environment for skill development.
• Participate in cost-efficiency initiatives and performance tuning.
• Prepare materials for business review meetings.
• Follow support processes and provide improvement input.
• Contribute to platform enhancement initiatives.
• Assist in resilience activities and platform readiness testing.
• Support automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain observability practices for monitoring and alerting.
• Support troubleshooting and incident response activities.
• Track operational health of production platforms.
• Participate in monitoring efforts for proactive issue identification.
