Site Reliability Engineer - eFX/ Crypto

Job summary

Swissquote is seeking a hands-on Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the reliability, availability, scalability, and performance of their production eFX/Crypto platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments.
• Understanding of Kubernetes architecture and operations.
• Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Docker and container technologies.
• Hands-on experience with on-premise or private cloud environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Programming skills in Python and Shell.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of SRE principles.
• Familiarity with Java web applications and servers.
• Fluent in English, with willingness to learn French.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production systems and respond to incidents.
• Ensure optimal uptime and performance of applications and infrastructure.
• Operate and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
• Contribute to scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
• Automate IT and operational processes.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and improve system observability.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct stress and disaster recovery testing.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Development teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation for operational support.
