Job summary

As a Site Reliability Engineer II at Jamf, you will balance development velocity with the reliability that customers depend on. You will work with engineering teams to implement service level objectives, investigate production issues, and contribute to automation and tooling that enhances reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years in software engineering, SRE, IT or production operations
• Production troubleshooting skills
• Agile development framework experience
• Operating production services on AWS
• Utilizing observability tools
• Creating clear technical documentation
• Writing automation in a general-purpose language
• Applying AI in SRE work
• Using agentic development tools

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain service level objectives and error budgets
• Investigate production issues across application and infrastructure layers
• Produce technical documentation and runbooks
• Take ownership of team domain
• Refine conditions for AI agents
• Contribute to shared repository context and skills
• Collaborate with teams on issues
• Participate in on-call rotation for production incidents
• Shape technical design of reliability improvements
• Mentor less-experienced engineers
• Share findings from investigations and projects
