Site Reliability Engineer II

Job summary

The Site Reliability Engineer II role at Lex*** involves assisting applications with provisioning needs, deployment support, and security improvements. The position focuses on implementing automation, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with senior engineers to apply best practices in cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, cloud engineering, or related IT roles.
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (Azure preferred).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts.
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Understanding of version control systems.
• Basic knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
• Familiarity with containerization or automation workflows is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent experience and/or technical certifications will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing cloud infrastructure as code (primarily Azure).
• Work with data storage systems under guidance from senior team members.
• Help develop and maintain automated workflows for deploying applications and infrastructure.
• Participate in troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with engineers and non-technical team members to understand requirements.
• Learn and apply CI/CD, automation, and monitoring best practices.
• Follow security best practices and assist in implementing controls.
• Contribute to team documentation.
