Job summary
As a Site Reliability Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase, you will solve complex business problems and optimize applications and infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
- Proficient in site reliability culture and principles
- Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, Java/Spring Boot, .Net)
- Knowledge of software applications and technical processes
- Experience in observability and telemetry collection tools
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform
- Familiarity with container orchestration (ECS, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Familiarity with troubleshooting networking technologies
- Ability to present information logically and compellingly
- Ability to recognize roadblocks and learn new technologies
Responsibilities
- Guide and assist in building appropriate level designs
- Collaborate to design and implement deployment approaches using CI/CD pipelines
- Design, develop, test, and implement availability and reliability solutions
- Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex problems
- Utilize service level objectives to proactively resolve issues
- Support adoption of site reliability engineering best practices
