Site Reliability Engineer

Job summary

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Info Support, you will ensure optimal performance of applications on platforms responsible for high security and reliability standards. You will work within DevOps teams, focusing on capacity requirements, performance monitoring, and automation of processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience as Software, Cloud, or Operations Engineer
• Experience with concepts such as DevOps, cloud, virtualization, infrastructure as code, cloud setup, and build pipelines
• Independent IT professional with a strong sense of responsibility
• High level of abstraction ability
• Capable of taking the lead when necessary
• Ability to solve complex issues
• Ambition to bring out the best in yourself and others

Responsibilities

• Establish capacity requirements for availability and determine objectives
• Monitor and maintain performance and scalability based on SLA’s, SLO’s, or SLI’s
• Detect and predict potential disruptions and provide preventive solutions
• Advise and assist teams in setting up, executing, and optimizing standby processes
• Reduce management burden by automating processes and actions where possible
• Conduct disaster recovery scenario tests and apply chaos engineering practices to identify system weaknesses
• Coach and advise development teams on improving and optimally using the platform and operations processes
