Site Reliability Engineer, London

Job summary

This Site Reliability Engineer builds and operates infrastructure for services used by hundreds of millions of people across geographically distributed data centers. The role spans Linux systems and hybrid platforms, including performance debugging, content delivery network traffic management, automation, provisioning, deployment, logging, and monitoring, in close partnership with development teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience with Go, Python, Ruby, or Bash and a focus on reliable systems.
• Strong ownership, integrity, communication, and collaboration.
• Deep systems and infrastructure knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with source code and artifact management systems and CI/CD infrastructure, including GitHub, Artifactory, or Jenkins.
• Understanding of Linux, standard networking protocols, and networking components.
• Experience managing and scaling distributed systems in public, private, or hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience managing diverse systems using configuration management or software delivery platforms such as Puppet or Ansible.
• Experience deploying, supporting, and monitoring services, platforms, and application stacks using tools such as Grafana or Splunk.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve infrastructure tooling and automation.
• Support configuration management, provisioning, software deployment, logging, and monitoring.
