Job summary

The Site Reliability Engineer helps keep business-critical sports betting and online gaming platforms reliable, scalable, and available. The role combines software engineering and operational support to monitor production health, automate infrastructure, tune performance, plan capacity, and improve large-scale distributed services while meeting service-level objectives. The technology environment includes AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Programming experience in one or more high-level languages, such as Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Expertise in AWS cloud computing
• Experience with Kubernetes administration, optimization, and CRDs
• Proficiency with CI/CD and provisioning tools, including GitHub Actions and Terraform
• Proactive approach to identifying problems and opportunities for improvement
• AWS vendor certification or equivalent preferred
• Java-based development experience is beneficial
• Fluent English
• Working knowledge of German is an advantage

• Monitor production availability and overall system health
