Site Reliability Engineer (m/w/d)

Job summary

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be passionate about technology, think systematically, and act with foresight. You will proactively address challenges, maintain composure in critical situations, and possess a deep understanding of customer needs to design and evolve SLIs and SLOs. The role requires a thirst for knowledge, experimentation, and the ability to identify risks before they arise.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in automation, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Ability to establish Observability tools
• Understanding and communication of ITSM processes
• Define and implement scalable infrastructures
• Promote resilient application architectures
• Collaborate with customer service to translate feedback into technical improvements
• Coding experience, ideally in Java (Cloud Native), modern frameworks, and databases
• German language proficiency at C1 level or higher

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets
• Eliminate toil by continuously improving and automating processes
• Build and develop Observability solutions
• Manage incidents with a systematic approach and clear communication
• Optimize systems and applications through targeted performance engineering
