Job summary
The Site Reliability Engineer helps maintain the reliability, performance, scalability, and availability of software platforms while supporting daily content releases for consumer security products. The role automates operations and recovery using Python and Jenkins/Groovy, monitors and resolves production incidents, manages cloud and on-premises virtual environments, and reports reliability metrics. It also applies AI and agentic tools to development workflows.

Qualifications
- At least four years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, software development, or a related role
- Experience with a cloud service provider such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Experience with Windows and macOS
- Scripting experience, including Python
- Knowledge of Confluence, Jira, or similar collaborative tools
- Working knowledge of AI and agentic tools is an advantage
- Strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Improve software and application reliability, performance, and scalability
- Install, configure, and test operating systems, applications, and system management tools
- Automate emergency recovery, deployment schedules, and post-maintenance validation
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents
- Build Python automation to reduce manual work and improve reliability
- Develop Jenkins and Groovy frameworks for automated releases using infrastructure as code
- Manage virtual environments in cloud and on-premises data centers
- Report reliability metrics, incident trends, and improvement initiatives
- Track work in Jira and publish knowledge articles in Confluence
- Collaborate with engineering teams to automate monitoring, alerting, availability, and scalability
