Site Reliability Engineer - ML, Apple Ads

Job summary

The Site Reliability Engineer role focuses on ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of the machine learning platform and services within App*** Ads. Key responsibilities include building and operating distributed systems using AWS managed services like EKS and ElasticCache, developing internal tooling for infrastructure reliability, and managing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters at scale.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Rust, Go, or similar languages.
• Hands-on experience with Linux systems.
• Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform.
• Strong foundation in SRE concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate distributed systems using AWS managed services.
• Develop internal tooling and automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define infrastructure architecture.
• Design and manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Lead or participate in incident response and continuous improvement cycles.
