Job summary

MyF*** is seeking a Software Engineer III - Site Reliability to enhance the reliability and security of their software delivery systems.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in site reliability, platform, or infrastructure engineering
  • Strong programming skills for automation and tooling
  • Deep, hands-on experience with a major cloud platform
  • Proven track record leading incident response and building SLO-driven reliability practices
  • Working fluency with observability tooling
  • Practical experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals
  • Judgment and communication skills to raise security or reliability findings
  • Experience with policy-as-code frameworks
  • Exposure to regulated or compliance-driven environments
  • Chaos engineering or game-day experience
  • Experience supporting B2C/mobile backend environments with high traffic

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve SLI/SLO and error-budget frameworks
  • Lead incident response and drive postmortems
  • Build and maintain observability across metrics, logs, and traces
  • Design and operate resilient, scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
  • Manage production Kubernetes and container workloads
  • Own CI/CD pipelines and safe deployment strategies
  • Own security controls in the delivery pipeline
  • Implement and maintain policy-as-code to block unsafe changes
  • Drive vulnerability triage and remediation SLAs
  • Partner with Security Engineer and Security & Reliability disciplines
  • Participate in and improve the on-call rotation
  • Coach team members on reliability patterns and best practices
