Site Reliability Engineer - Platform

Job summary

The Platform Engineer is tasked with designing, building, and maintaining enterprise technology platforms that facilitate secure and efficient software delivery, data integration, and analytics. Key responsibilities include implementing fault-tolerant architectures using cloud-native services, developing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and establishing monitoring frameworks utilizing tools like Datadog and Azure Monitor.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform
• Experience with source control platforms and CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant architectures using cloud-native services
• Define and operationalize SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets for critical applications and platforms
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Develop automated remediation and self-healing capabilities
• Establish enterprise-level monitoring and observability frameworks
• Drive cost optimization initiatives
• Support DR/BCP strategy execution
• Collaborate with application teams to embed reliability engineering practices
