Job summary

RWS is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to enhance reliability and observability across its technology teams. The role involves collaborating with engineering teams to design resilient systems, define reliability standards, and improve operational excellence through automation and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical partner to engineering teams for resilient systems
• Define and drive adoption of SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets
• Provide SRE guidance in incident reviews and long-term remediation
• Shape the architecture of RWS’s observability platform
• Define instrumentation standards using vendor-neutral approaches
• Collaborate on tool consolidation and scalable telemetry pipelines
• Build reusable frameworks to improve visibility and operational excellence
• Identify reliability bottlenecks and design technical solutions
• Improve deployment stability and operational readiness
• Introduce resilience techniques such as load testing and chaos testing
• Produce clear technical documentation and runbooks
• Work closely with engineering teams to embed SRE thinking
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on reliability work
• Define future operations organization from a technical perspective
