Job summary

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role involves supporting daily SRE operations and executing tasks from the backlog, including small project work and documentation. Candidates will gain hands-on experience with technologies such as Linux, Kubernetes, and Terraform while developing foundational knowledge in cloud operations and programming languages like Python, Go, C++, or Java.

Qualifications

• demonstrate strong interest and foundational knowledge in cloud providers, operations, networking, hardware, and software
• basic understanding of the Network (ethernet, ip, tcp/udp, routing fundamentals)
• familiarity with Git
• basic understanding of containers, Kubernetes and Gitops approach

Responsibilities

• assist in day-to-day SRE operations tasks
• execute tasks from the backlog
• work on small and well-defined SRE project from backlog
• create tests for their changes/project
• write technical documentation about their work
• track and update Jira tasks according to their progress
• actively study system fundamentals
• learn internal tools, workflows and operational standards
• learn container and platform fundamentals
• learn configuration management and automation basics
