Site Reliability Engineer SRE - Internationalisation

Job summary

Build and operate global infrastructure for international business systems, focusing on multi-region architecture, high availability, disaster recovery, and resilience. Responsibilities include deploying overseas infrastructure platforms, improving observability and incident response, optimising network and data architecture, and coordinating reliability work across engineering teams. The environment includes Linux, MySQL, Redis, Kafka, Kubernetes, service mesh, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale internet reliability engineering, preferably in SRE, platform engineering, or infrastructure teams.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating cross-region systems, including traffic routing, data replication, and disaster recovery.
• Strong understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
• Proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience building automation tools, reliability platforms, or infrastructure systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex issues under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement global infrastructure architecture.
• Own cross-region architecture, disaster recovery, and high-availability capabilities.
• Build, deploy, operate, and optimise infrastructure platforms in overseas regions.
• Develop reliability engineering frameworks, observability, incident response, and postmortem processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional response to major incidents and drive service recovery and systemic improvements.
• Optimise network and data architecture and adapt core infrastructure services for global deployment.
• Align overseas systems with internal architecture standards and promote reliability best practices.
