Job summary

This Site Reliability Engineer supports the reliability, performance, and observability of high-volume, business-critical cloud platforms in the retail sector. The role maintains infrastructure, improves service availability through SRE practices, handles major incidents, and defines SLI, SLO, and SLA measures. It also develops monitoring and infrastructure automation using GCP, Kubernetes, Datadog, OpenTelemetry, Terraform, Ansible/AWX, and Python.

• At least 6 years of experience in cloud and infrastructure environments.
• Significant experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
• At least 3 years of experience in observability and monitoring.
• Advanced Kubernetes expertise and strong GCP proficiency.
• Extensive Datadog experience in high-traffic environments.
• Good knowledge of OpenTelemetry.
• Strong Terraform and Ansible/AWX skills.
• Python scripting or development skills; Go is an advantage.
• Fluent English for work in an international context.

Responsibilities

• Maintain critical infrastructure in operational condition.
• Apply SRE practices to improve service availability and resilience.
• Manage major incidents, conduct postmortem analyses, and reduce operational risks.
• Define and track SLI, SLO, and SLA measures.
• Design and improve monitoring and observability solutions.
• Operate and optimize Datadog platforms in high-volume environments.
• Use OpenTelemetry standards to improve collection and analysis of metrics, logs, and traces.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Automate deployments and recurring operations with Ansible and AWX.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and architecture teams.
• Promote SRE practices across technical teams.
