Job summary
Social Discovery Group is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to enhance infrastructure reliability and automation for scalable production systems.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, System Administration, or Build/Release Engineering
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management tools
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and load balancing
- Experience with Git and software delivery workflows
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Fluent Russian for technical documentation and communication
Responsibilities
- Improve production infrastructure reliability and stability
- Support deployments and infrastructure changes
- Maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Ansible and Terraform
- Optimize Kubernetes-based and containerized environments
- Develop automation scripts and operational tooling
- Monitor system health and improve observability
- Participate in CI/CD improvements with Development, QA, DevOps, and SRE teams
- Work with monitoring systems to reduce downtime and improve performance
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
- Support DNS, WAF, CDN, and caching infrastructure
