Site Reliability Engineer - Technical Lead (initial 12 month FTC)

Job summary

BTG Pactual is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to lead a small team within their Technology Team in London, focusing on automation and infrastructure integration across cloud and on-premises environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in cloud operations and automation
• At least 4 years focused on AWS
• Proven track record in delivering scalable cloud solutions
• Experience leading an engineering team of 5 or more
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools and scripting languages
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and tooling
• Experience with container orchestration and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with monitoring tools
• Strong troubleshooting skills in cloud networking and Linux systems
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers
• Execute hands-on technical tasks
• Define technical architectures for scalable infrastructure systems
• Implement and maintain automation across cloud environments
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Leverage AI coding platforms
